For those of you out there that don’t watch Google’s every move like a hawk, the company has been developing an ambitious new product. It’s called Google Glass, and the concept involves attaching a camera and small display to eyeglasses to augment a person’s experience on the go.
A new video is out on the Google Glass website, and it is nothing less than impressive. While certain features of Glass were already fairly well known, this new promotional material shows users taking advantage of some impressive new applications, including a language translation tool, a Google Maps interface for directions, and a link to Google+ Hangouts (think FaceTime without having to hold up your phone awkwardly).
